Established in 2012, Origami released its smartphone payment service in 2015, officially launching “Origami Pay” in May 2016. It is now rolled out nationwide at convenience stores, international fast food chains, taxis, department stores and shops across various verticals.
Responsibilities
- Support senior team members on all aspects of the research & planning process
- Keep senior team members abreast of progress on projects
- Work collaboratively with International team members and internal departments to ensure projects remain on focus and on schedule
- Assist with distribution of results among internal stakeholders, providing context and highlighting key points of interest
Required Skills/Experience
- 2+ years of related experience
- Formal education in a relevant field, preferably business or market research degree, or equivalent experience
- Exceptional analytical skills;Strong attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good working knowledge of analytical and statistical tools to analyze and interpret data
- Self-motivated and able to balance multiple projects; prioritize tasks in accordance with project schedules
Ideal Skills/Experience
- Experience with data warehouse integration and extraction using SQL is a must
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methods
Ideal Competencies
- Ability to communicate in English and Japanese

- Employment Type: Full-Time-Regular Employee (3-Month probationary period from start date)
- Work Hours: 10:00-19:00 (Flex working time)
- Work Location: Tokyo Headquarters
